Five Pink Roses
Wallpaper Description:
the delicate pink roses beside the glass window are safe indoors from the pelting rain outsideNOTE: The topic below has nothing to do with the above pink roses but the discussion was getting too long over at the Dark Love wallpaper...so I dumped the answer to a question here. Don't let it distract you.
Those who don't know how people got curious about the number 4 can go over to the Dark Love wallpaper for an introduction.
Now even this is getting too long...
It goes like this:
So some people want to know my take on the number four, since I discussed numbers/the Code of Love...
Well, I'm a woman, and like all women I live with roses in my mind, and everywhere I can put them in...they're even bookmarks sometimes.
I don't do the eastern practice. All my Chinese friends know that my cellphone passwords are all "4444"...in other words 4 (4)'s!
One Chinese friend of mine got so fascinated with my password that he ordered a telephone number for his business ending in 4444. Several months later his daughter noticed it and she ordered him to change it. He did.
So you see, some people, depending on their culture, hate certain numbers and love some. The Chinese love the number 8 and I am one with them on that. To them 8 means Good Luck. To me, 8 is the best number - a symbol of religious mystery...the 8th unknown Archangel (There were 9 Archangels in total that used to lead the Nine Choirs of Angels in Heaven).
