Welcome to “Easy Viewing."

What we are looking for in general, is wallpapers that are icon friendly. In other words, a practical wall that will enable people’s icons to show easily, but have attractiveness and style as well.

Walls in this group should have some or all of the following characteristics.

Low contrast muted patterns or images

Blurred backgrounds

A solid background with a small logo on it, or a border down a side of a solid wallpaper.

Solid colored walls are fine. Brighter and pale colors are fine also, as long as there are no sharp contrasts in them.

Walls with a small brighter splash of color or colors.

Walls with several colors are fine as long as the hues and patterns don't cause icons to be hard to read.

January 25, 2015 Hi all... I am going to stop moderating submissions now, and see how it goes. I'll be checking often, to make sure that walls fit in well. Happily, most of them have. : )

My mother is going through some very challenging problems... my daughter is exhausted from caring for her... my husband and I are heading over to their house momentarily. Please pray for us. I do not believe that it is my mom's time to go, but this is a real battle for us all.

February 8, 2015: The situation below is past, as my Dad passed away on September 5th. I am posting this on my profile right now, because I am going through some difficult times, and I need prayer.( Remember, if you need prayer, feel free to post this on your profile! :) C.S.)

Dear DN Friends,

My Dad is on a respirator in ICU at the hospital right now, as well as many other machines. His quality of life is not good. At this point he has to be kept sedated, or he tries to get out of the bed and leave. (I don't blame him!)

All of my family is coming in from all parts of the country as quickly as they can. Sometime this week, he will enter hospice care.

This wallpaper that I just made is therapy for me right now. Many people are praying for me, my Dad, and my family. This is the toughest of all on my Mom...

As I made this wallpaper, I thought of all of you. So many of you have become wonderful friends...

This wallpaper is for all of you, also. If you are ever in need of prayer, wear this wallpaper on your profile and/or post it on mine or in a PM so I will know to pray for you. :)

Thank you all for being who you are and for being a part of DN. You have become a very special part of my life.

PS. Maybe I am stating the obvious, but I'll do it anyhow. I'll be at the hospital with my family a lot in the next couple of weeks. I won't have much time for DN, but I will try to check in at least once a day.
