Easy Viewing

05-21-13 UPDATE: BRIGHTER WALLPAPERS NOW ALLOWED. :D :D :D :D :D CHANGES LISTED BELOW

Welcome to “Easy Viewing."

What we are looking for in general, is wallpapers that are icon friendly. In other words, a practical wall that will enable people’s icons to show easily, but have attractiveness and style as well.

Walls in this group should have some or all of the following characteristics.

Low contrast muted patterns or images

Blurred backgrounds

A solid background with a small logo on it, or a border down a side of a solid wallpaper.

Solid colored walls are fine. Brighter and pale colors are fine also, as long as there are no sharp contrasts in them.

Walls with a small brighter splash of color or colors.

Walls with several colors are fine as long as the hues and patterns don't cause icons to be hard to read.

January 25, 2015 Hi all... I am going to stop moderating submissions now, and see how it goes. I'll be checking often, to make sure that walls fit in well. Happily, most of them have. : )

Wallpaper Description:

Glimpse of a lynx - Vilas had seen many of Spain’s wild animals, but never the elusive Iberian lynx, an endangered cat found only in two small populations in southern Spain. Unlike the larger European lynx, the Iberian lynx feeds almost entirely on rabbits. So a disease that wipes out the rabbit population can be catastrophic. Vilas' family traveled to the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park in search of the lynx, and got lucky on their second day, as a pair were relaxing not far from the road. There were many photographers there but an atmosphere of respect. Vilas watched for an hour and a half, the only sound being the whir of cameras if a cat glanced in their direction. "The animals’ attitude surprised me. They weren’t scared of people, they simply ignored us," said Vilas. "I felt so emotional to be so close to them."
