Cheese Haus Mouse

If you have ever been to Frankenmuth, Michigan before, you have probably met this happy mouse. He lives just outside of the Cheese Haus, a shop whose specialty is-- you guessed it-- cheese! They carry over 150 kinds of cheese there, and they make a lot of kinds available for sampling. One of my top favorites is chocolate cheese. (I didn't know that there was such a thing until I went into this store for the first time!)

When my husband and I were there last weekend, lots of children were swarming over the mouse. I waited for their families to move on down the street so that I could get this shot. Even so, the photo that I took before this one had a surprise in it. When a little boy spotted my camera, he leaped onto the cheese platform hollering, "I want to be in the picture!"
