Look Up, It's Autumn!!!

I lost many lovely Autumn photographs to a hard drive crash nearly a year ago. So this year I planned to take many beautiful pictures of Autumn Trees to replace those I had lost. Unfortunately, a slip and fall on a rainy muddy day, changed those plans.

I've spent the last couple of weeks getting over a painful hamstring injury. At first I was barely able to hobble. For the first time in my life, I learned how to use a walker and shuffled around my house with it.

A few days ago, I was lying on my couch looking through a window at the leafy colorful branches of the large Norway maple tree in my front yard. The sun was out, and the sky was blue. Suddenly, I couldn't stand it anymore!

I got off the couch, and got my walker and my camera. Carefully, but somewhat defiantly, I stepped out of my house and down the porch step. Leaning on the walker, I looked up into the maple and snapped photo after photo of it's golden branches. Then with my treasure filled camera, I slowly went back into the house. Photographs at last, in spite of my injury!

I picked one of the best ones, for this wallpaper. I got of Autumn branches this year. I hope you like it as much as I do. It fills me with joy every time I look at it.
